Townhouse - Brooklyn, New York

After twenty years living in Manhattan, the owners of this townhouse in Brooklyn's Navy Yard hired us to design a happy urban retreat for them. The interior scheme combines a color palette of grays, pinks, and reds, with brass accents, and uses statement wallcoverings and textiles to create an overall aesthetic that is bold yet dreamy.

In the living room, a pink floral wallpaper by Eskayel provides a canvas for a pair of off-centered sconces by Jason Miller, a low-slung blush sofa, and a white marble plinth coffee table. Our custom suede wallpaper installation provides a striking, textural backdrop to custom red lacquer and brass sideboard, also by us. An Ox armchair and brass drum side table, help lend a masculine feel to an otherwise soft aesthetic. A pair of Lee Broom pendants add drama and center the space.

Similar tones carry through to the dining area, with a pink geometric wallpaper by Eskayel and a painted accent wall in Cascabel Chilli, which showcases a vintage brass sculpture by Curtis Jere. The client's own dining table is paired with an oversized mirror by Uhuru, a black lacquer sideboard by De La Espada and leather Giron dining chairs. Jason Miller's Endless pendant further elevates the scheme and adds sophistication.

With it's muted color palette and soft textiles, the master suite is a haven of peace and tranquility. A dreamy wallpaper by Eskayel sets the tone for a luxurious, cloud-like feel, further complemented by a plush, curvaceous bed by Pianca. A pair of nesting tables by Bower Studios sit aside a Wing chair in pink mohair, creating a reading corner with a playful, cotton-candy feel. At night, the Foscarini table lamps emit a warm, soothing glow and the Moooi pendants cast dramatic shadows on the walls.
