For this Greenpoint townhouse, our goal was to create a space that felt both open and inviting, while still maintaining functionality for this busy family. Custom millwork, designed by us and crafted by a local millworker and upholsterer, includes pieces like the dining bench, media wall, curved reading nook, entry bench with coat hooks, and staircase divider.

The entry now has proper storage and seating, offering a seamless transition into the main living space, which serves as both the family room and play area. We kept the living space open and cohesive, adding subtle separators for different points of visual interest, all while emphasizing practical storage.

The staircase has been transformed into a modern focal point, integrated seamlessly into the flow of the space, while the quiet color palette and materials help create a calm and comfortable atmosphere.
