The Annex - Williamsburg, Brooklyn

We had the pleasure of designing a meetings and events space called The Annex for our sister brand, The New Work Project.

A former foundry, we sought to celebrate the building's industrial past while thoughtfully introducing more contemporary design elements.

Within the 600 square foot Lounge, we embraced a bold, masculine color palette featuring blacks and browns, melding mid-century aesthetics with hints of maximalism. To add a unique touch, we incorporated a vintage sofa complementing the space's overall ambiance. Additionally, we introduced graphic patterns through textiles and artwork to further elevate the space's distinctive character.

Our custom tables, inspired by the iconic Donald Judd, stand as functional art pieces, daring to be different with a brilliant pop of bright purple. We paired these with vintage Dutch classroom chairs, for a touch of nostalgia and timeless elegance.
